LGBT-Friendly Support Services

Where do I turn for support?

If you are looking for someone to talk to, there are a number of LGBT-friendly support services available in English.

Yesh Im Mi Ledaber

Launched in 1979 as the “White Line”, the Aguda’s LGBT Support Line “Yesh Im Mi Ledaber” (or There Is Someone To Talk With) is open six evenings each week (Saturday to Thursday) and has a number of trained counsellors who speak a number of languages.

Amcha

Originally founded to support Holocaust survivors, Amcha now provides a wide range of LGBT-friendly psychological and social support services and has a number of English-speaking therapists across the country.

Keep Olim In Israel

Keep Olim In Israel aims to empower, inspire, and support Olim (both new immigrants and returning citizens) through a range of post-Aliyah programs and services. They foster a strong sense of community and advocate for Olim to successfully integrate into Israeli society during life after Aliyah.
